This one is from a few weeks ago (people seem to put most of their screenies on Skype rather than DC at the moment), but still worth sharing:

could you rotate some of those trees? The repeated textures are really showing. And some more environment assets could help, it looks a little empty

Aleswell environment (still early WIP)

It's far from perfect, but it's getting there.

On which components of landscaping do you seek advice?

Sweet, looks great!

Fort Caracatus is that close to Aleswell in our map?

Thank you! :D It was either that, or push the fort off the cliffside (whee!), there's a very steep slope between Aleswell and Lake Rumare, there wasn't much room for a fort farther out.

Perry's landscaping thread a.k.a. Perry puts his pimp hand down on landscaping.

Thanks xD

I plan to continue on this over the weekend - note that I have Thursday and Friday off next week, and will most likely be here all day next Friday (Thanksgiving holiday weekend is coming up in the US).

It actually make a lot more sense now! Why was it halfway down a cliff in the first place? I know a couple towns right next to air force bases, and the families enjoy it (in some ways)

I've done some cluttering around Aleswell (The roadsigns and Applewatch trees are placeholders...)

So, without further ado...
