  1. [WIP] Goblin - Take Three

How's the Namira statue? Is somebody already working on that? Concept art or modelling? The concept art for it is already here: it was the last one posted (And I am a narcissist) I am assuming it's what we're going with, although there are some others here:

Thanks! The floating bag is supposed to defy gravity like that; it is a water bladder with a defined form as opposed to a sack. I don't know how much this changes your view, but I had a slightly lower line for the floor, which might make it all look slightly less wonky. Also, that was a lantern on the right, and that thing is actually what the cabinet is on top of, the cabinet is not attached to the floor.

Thanks for the help! For full blown-drawings, I plan to clean up the line art. Unfortunately, That is drawing lightly for me; I am afraid I don't have steady hands. However, drawing over with a marker is a great point. I draw on paper because that's what I'm best at. For actual concept art, I would not draw on notebook paper. (Unfortunately, that's all I have to drawn at school; If i were given something to draw by request I would do it at home on better paper. The perspective of the Hammerfell drawing was just carelessness. When I drew it, I didn't have a particular plan, so I drew whatever I thought was good when it came to me, causing weird spacing issues) I don't know what you mean about the perspective though, at least for the most part. The only drawing I can think is the group of Hammerfell culture pieces, which is not supposed to be one single drawing. Would you mind being more specific about the proportion issues? just knowing which parts of which drawing(s) you're referring to. Thanks, Eero
  5. In order to join the Hammerfell project, Deeza asked me to draw some practice sketches to evaluate my skills. I have posted some on the New Recruitment Thread, and Kettlewitch recommended I make a new thread to post them here, so here they are. If you would are interested in joining the Hammerfell project as a concept artist, please contact Deeza. If he likes your work or wants you to post some, feel free to do so here. Hope you guys enjoy!
  6. Recruitment Thread - No Longer Used

Here are a few more. I think I will re-post them in a new thread like Kettlewitch suggested.
  7. Recruitment Thread - No Longer Used

Thanks Kettlewitch! Your work is awesome and I'm glad to get a recommendation from you. I posted these on here because Deeza asked me to draw some test sketches to evaluate my work, but if you think these are good enough, I will definitely re-post them on the other threads. I might jump into the Tavern games thread too, I have a few ideas for that.
  8. Recruitment Thread - No Longer Used

You'll get an answer, don't worry; Your work is great. I recommend PMing Deeza if you want a faster response, though.
  10. Roscrean Race Development

I'm going to pull a Kanye and jump in this conversation for a second, despite little to no knowledge of Roscrea. From what I've read here, why don't we do something like a nord-colored Orc re-texture, like in this image? Without the teeth and with human ears, if at all possible. It's a great compromise between all of these ideas and works well. Orcs are relatively taller than most races, almost like giants, but still fit well with in the range of other races. Some of them have the forehead definition like a giant, with varying degrees of subtly. Their frames, unlike the other Mer, tend to fit relatively well with Nords, and being bulkier and stockier certainly helps the giant-hood idea. If we color them Nord, remove any traces of Mer, and give them the scarification, I think they could work. What do you guys thing?
