  1. 3D artist - Dafewf

Hello, im Dafewf and i know you cant say mine nick. Im a young graphic designer, both 2 and 3D but for this purpose i could help with some 3D modeling/sculpting. Im studying game development in Poland and i have shit loads of things to do for it, that i dont have much time, so its not a promise i will make everything super fast etc. I prefer to make some props like weapons and stuff, not organic (learning this now). Some models i made: https://sketchfab.com/models/b618644850c24fc489ee18dcf861d523 https://sketchfab.com/models/9ab0c892bee248fa955c72a683753aaa/embed
  2. Application: Concept Artist

Hiya, my name is Bradley Simpkins and I'm a 3rd year Illustration student at Plymouth University (from the UK) and I thought that maybe I could be of use on the Beyond Skyrim project, it's also something I've thoroughly enjoyed playing myself with the Bruma release and thus would love to be a part of the team if you'd have me. I'd be interested in any province/project and working on concepts for anything that you need really, I'm not constrained to one area or another, I'm pretty open to wherever or whatever. Examples of my work: https://bradleysimpkins.tumblr.com/ PS. I can do photo realistic pencil drawing, digital work, cartoon work, whatever you need, i'm not constrained to just graphic novel type work like my tumblr would suggest.
  3. Altmer Concept Art

Hello! (I am completely new to these forums, and have basically no clue as to how things work - but that's not there point; therefore I digress.) Nonetheless, I was wondering if anyone here had any idea as to what Aldmeri architecture is like. From in-game sources, you can see the Velothi architecture in Morrowind, the re-hashed-cookie-cutter homes from the MMO, and the White Gold Tower in Oblivion. But what would an actual Altmer, High-Elf home look like? Specifically, I am looking for concept art. I drew this picture (I am very bad at drawing. Atrociously bad.) and made a mesh in Blender - which I just so happen to be garbage at that too. I cannot get the colors right at all, it's extremely difficult doing the windows and trying to imitate the peaking, towering architecture that you would expect. Does anyone on the forum have any concept art they have seen? I am in desperate need of them because I'm trying to make a Skyrim mod. Tips would be appreciated. For further reference, I will link a few pictures from google to show what I was basing this off of. Sorry for so many images! Please reply with any general descriptions, comments, or images you can. Have a great day, and thanks in advance.
  4. Hey, I'm Jay Knox. I do a lot of art, most of which is pixel art which isn't really applicable here, but I also do a lot of concept sketching and like to think I'm a solid writer on top of that. Both of those I can apply to this project. Obviously I'm a big fan of Elder Scrolls since I'm posting here at all, and I have delved pretty deep into the ol' lore pit. I've always enjoyed the idea of going to High Rock and Hammerfell most out of the various Tamrielic nations so I figured I would see if I could help with this section of the project. Here's some examples of my work in various forms: Concept Sketch 1 Concept Sketch 2 Concept Sketch 3 General Portfolio Webcomic Project I also have some minor knowledge of the creation kit, but would need more practice with it before I could do anything worthwhile.
  5. Hello there! My name is TanneStokkie, and I'd like to apply for the Beyond Skyrim development team. I am hardworking, and I love to work towards a deadline, although drawing at a relaxed tempo is great. Drawing is a great passion of mine, and I love The Elder Scrolls lore as it has never ceased to amaze me by how large the volume of content is. Here are some examples of my drawings. My art is mostly only in black and white, as that is the way that I love to draw my artwork. http://imgur.com/1YrU8Aj http://imgur.com/agzr04P The following 2 links are some examples of patterns that I created, and could be great when embroidered into a blanket or pillow. Many cultures all over Tamriel are very art based, and I can easily see these added onto textures of blankets or bedding. I can easily see patterns like the following being added: http://imgur.com/UrkFsie http://imgur.com/MGs90xs Some more examples follow... http://imgur.com/a/AVbVg http://imgur.com/zmmHvNt I'd absolutely love to be a part of such an ambitious and amazing project. I do not mind creating specific concept art for absolutely any faction or race, but I prefer to work on the Elsweyr team. Thank you for taking the time to review my application!
  6. Application For Concept Artist

Hello, My name is Ryan Riggs and I am applying for a position as a concept artist. Here are some examples of my work (all done in photoshop cc w/ a tablet) (Please excuse the lack of art, as I am only allowed to upload 2mb of files, I can upload more separately upon request)
  7. Black Marsh Concept Art

Greetings Beyond Skyrim team! I would like to put forth concept art for the province of Black Marsh, or possibly the sub-tropical locations in Cyrodiil. These images depict abandoned or crumbling architecture deep inside a jungle. I would be happy to hear from the community regarding any feedback or requests.
  8. Black Marsh Concept Art

Hello everyone! My name is Russell and I am posting concept art for a location in Black Marsh. This image depicts ancient ruins (based on Byzantine architecture) somewhere deep inside a jungle. I would love to hear your feedback!

  10. Hey everyone, i am a graphics and design student from Germany and currently in between semesters, i have some free time right now and looking forward to help the project. Programs i am very comfortable with: PhotoshopSubstance PainterQuixel SuiteZbrushMaya3ds Max (to some extend) I am speaking english fluently and have no issues working in teams. Here is a little preview of what i am working on at the moment: High poly mesh Low poly mesh with texture Picture2 Wireframe You may notice the mesh isn't as low poly as it could be, but i needed a higher resolution for my rigging process. Of course i can lower the amount of poly's here. Thanks for the time you took reading my post, please let me know what you think. solace I am sorry, i think i posted it twice and since i am a absolute forum noob , i have no idea how to delete it.. i am so ashamed :X.. don't judge me

  12. Hello Dark Creations crew, I've been following the Beyond Skyrim project for quite a while now, since some of the first versions of Bruma, and am amazed by what you all have done so far! I would love a chance to help out with the project if I could be of use. I'm currently a Philosophy major focusing on Eastern thought and comparative religion and have fallen in love with some of the stranger side of the Elder scrolls Lore, and thought I could help out with writing on the subject for the Mod or anything else you would need with the subject. I'm also an artist and included some of my digital illustration here , If you needed any help with concept art or anything else I would be happy to help. thanks, Levi (Bodhi).
  13. Given that elsweyr is very much inspired by the area where india and the middle east combine I was wondering if anyone would be inspired by ivalice another world that takes a lot from persian and indian influence ivalice is a setting that pops up in final fantasy from time to time (ffxii, tactics, vagrant story) and is probably their deepest world lore wise as its sorta one of the designers baby some art and screens-
  14. Hello, I would like to help with the project how I can, and what I can do is draw, concept, collage/photoshop, make areas/clutter (dont knock clutter too many large mods look so barren), and am learning textures and models a sampler of art- (note I have a scanner now so don't worry about some of the potato pics) a bit of collage work- http://41.media.tumblr.com/783c4b79bd296e0040539213026f54fa/tumblr_n3ae83TPJI1shbxr8o1_1280.png I've never put out a mod but I've played around casually with modding tools since fallout 3 so I can do some work there too the provinces I would most like to do stuff for is first Hammerfell, second either black marsh or kittycatland, and so on also working on my own mod so I hope to learn a thing or two to be able to give that what it deserves
  15. Hammerfell clothing concepts

Well, since it seems I've been given greenlight to draw whatever my heart desires, I'm starting with something we seemed to be missing, aka common clothing. I've decided to go the same way Skyrim went - two colour variants for each mesh. These are mostly for commoners, I got ideas for noble clothing too but I still need to put them on paper And here's some headdress variants. Well, thoughts? Suggestions? Lore people willing to slap me if I get too stereotypical?
  16. Hello everyone, I was brought here by a post about a Skyrim project called Hammerfell. I am a fan of the Elder Scroll series, and have been a dedicated user of mods posted to the Steam Workshop. It would be amazing to contribute to a mod of this scope and ambition. So a bit about myself: I consider myself a concept artist, graphic artist, illustrator, and 3D animator. I majored in Sequential Art and Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design. If you look at my portfolio, I have done professional work in the games and animation industry. I have used 3D programs such as 3ds Max and Maya for many of the projects I have worked on. Though, most of my work is sci fi, I don't mind switching to fantasy. I am willing to work with any team so long as you can find a fit for me. I have some work up in my gallery. For more information, please check out my website and blog. http://jeffyu20.wix.com/jeff-yu-art http://jeffyu-art.blogspot.com/ If you wish to contact me, please email me at jeffyu20@gmail.com or skype me at xvortexbladex. Again, I want to say thank you for the opportunity to contribute to a fantastic looking game, I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Jeff Yu Gallery: http://www.darkcreations.org/forums/user/6484-xvortexbladex/

  18. Need any portraits?

Hello! I am offering to draw portraits of characters from any of the provinces that could be used for libraries, houses, books, etc. Below are some examples of Skyrim characters I've drawn before on my own time. I did Serana last year, which is why the contrast and everything else isn't as good as the other two, which I sketched this year. I'm willing to do any character. Reference pictures always help such as screenshots of the character render and maybe a reference of what kind of person he/she is so I can reflect it in the portrait's background and their pose. Any portraits I provided would have the watermark removed. Let me know if you can use me. Thanks!

  20. Hi everyone, I have noticed that there isn't much concept art on this page so.. If you need anything drawing, post it here and I will attempt it. Thanks
  21. I recently saw Gopher advertise this project on YouTube. I immediately thought that this would be a fantastic mod that I hope to some day play with. Knowing the talents I have, I would love to offer my skills in making you some art such as advertisements, or just a new perspective that people can visualize when they hear about this. Recently I created a shirt design of Kharjo, a Khajiit follower in Skyrim, and I hope that showing this to you will help understand why art is very important to projects such as this. Also I do prefer being paid for my work, but if not then it is completely okay, it only helps me afford new equipment for art. Thanks! (sorry if the picture is quite big!)
  22. We require a set of tileable patterns to be used across Elsweyr as the base for texture infill on all architecture and much of the clothing and clutter. The set should be as large as possible and consist of tileable units that can be assembled to outline or fill areas of stonework, fabric, pottery or whatever. We need pure (ideally vector) line art. Since the patterns will be scaled, deformed and rendered into various materials in game, it's important that they consist only of the pattern outline and line thickness - no texturing, shadowing, embossing, erosion etc. - these will be added when compositing final textures. The set must match in overall style with as it will be used alongside them. In general we need abstract patterning - although assorted figures of (Khajiiti) mortals, animals, plants etc. in the same style could also be very useful. These don't have to be quite up to the high aesthetic standard set by Ky0 as they'll be used smaller and as "low status" elements. Consider Ky0ushu's art first, together with any other influences it brings to mind. This is a fairly open claim and art from more than one source will be accepted as long as it's compatible in style - however we will need a fairly large set of tiles from each source to be useful and avoid odd jumps. More than one variant of each tile will also help break up the tiling. Simple reflections and rotations we can manage later during composition. Tiles can be square, 1x2, 1x4 or 1x8 - maybe 2x2, 2x4 and 2x8 as well - probably not worth going above that. Self-contained tiles and tiles that "link up" to neighbours at defined points will both work. Also useful to have circular units and one or two levels of concentric bands. Wider circles can be made from deformed linear units. Please don't go mad and create a huge set without consultation - we'll want to confirm the artistic style. There will probably be some discussion as to whether there is a difference between Anequina and Pelletine art in this respect - and between ancient and modern. I don't really want to have to try and multiply Ky0's set for each setting so I think we'll vary the usage by material and aging rather than the basic patterns used. Input taken on that, though. This is an opportunity to influence practically every Khajiiti artifact as we expect the culture to be strong on ornamentation and we won't want to invent new designs for every different setting so this set will probably be used somewhere in every texture set from temples to teapots.

Here's a concept of an Elsweyr Palace: It's just a rough draft.
  25. These are a bunch of photos I found online of Angkor Wat. I read somewhere on DC that Elsweyr might have similar themes. Here's the album:
