  1. Some Random Things

    This is the rest of stuff I had completed. It includes three actors (an elephant, a shaved and new horned domestic goat and a Tapir), a hanging planter which I have UVed to several different vanilla textures plus the base UV for those wanting to make their own textures or map it to another texture, many different textures for things such as the chicken, rugs, tapestries, a Drum based off the ones from Morrowind and more.

    A couple creatures that would fit in the province of Elseweyr. I was also writing a possible book on the creatures. The authors name Keikiary is a fantasy style name I came up with for my Siamese cross cat Keiko. The pack includes not only the actors but the pelts and some trophies. The creatures include: Kudu- modified from the one in my first creature pack Gazelle- from my first creature pack Elephantine- rigged and created from the vanilla mammoth Tapir- created and rigged to the cow Okapi- from my third creature pack Spotted Hyena (my newer better version)- from my third creature pack which is modified from my first creature pack Guanaco- from my third creature pack Zebra and a special Zebra the Quagga (made from my wildhorse not the vanilla horse)- from my second creature pack

    In this pack is a couple new creatures, some that I have been working on for a while. All are fully rigged and textured and some include glow maps, I thought it would add some realism and interest if they had eyes that glow in the dark. The creatures included in this pack are: An updated and I think better looking and functioning version of my earlier hyenas this time they have whiskers on their snouts. Andrewsarchus- a large predatory mammal from the Eocene that was related to modern hoofed animals like deer and sheep not mammalian carnivores like cats and dogs, it was a sheep in wolfs clothing. Interesting fact this creature was named after the American explorer and adventurer Roy Chapman Andrews who was the inspiration for Indiana Jones. Arsinotherium- a strange rhino/hippo like early relative of elephants from the Eocene of north Africa. a beaked dinosaur which also has a variant for the unique dinosaur Kulindadromeous. Both share the almost same UV and are rigged to the deer. I felt the deers animations fit it best. Lynxes-made from and rigged to the sabrecat it has three variants; Bobcat, Eurasian and Canadian Lynxes. Capybara- the worlds largest living rodent, I rigged it to the cow cause I felt its animations best fit the capybara. Diicynodon-a type of mammal-like reptile from the Permian to Triassic. Some Giraffids; shorter necked relatives off the modern giraffe they include the living Okapi and some off their extinct relatives such as the antlered Climacoceras, the shield headed Prolibytherium, the four horned Giraffokeryx and more. Ground Sloth A little Hedgehog rigged to the rabbit. The giant mammal Indricotherium, an extinct hornless rhino that is possibly the largest land mammal that ever lived. The bizarre South American animal Macrauchenia. Psittacosaurus, the parrot beaked dinosaur from early Cretaceous China which had quills on its tail. Pinnipeds- more commonly known as Seals and Sealions Tree Kangaroos and a creature of my own design a tree living duck-billed dinosaur which is rigged to the skeever. Also included I made a few vale inspired creatures since I liked the appearance of them and their interesting glowing patterns. Both some vanilla creatures such as the goat and rabbit and my own makes have Vale versions. Some of the creatures also have wall mounts.

    A few more new creatures I made, these creatures include the Aurochs (the ancestor of domestic cattle), the prezwelskys wild horse, some civets and mongooses (my favorite is the banded civet), the Shivatherium (mine is a little on the small size compared to the real creature which was bigger than its modern giraffe relative), a slaughterfish modified to look similar to the ones in oblivion but still following skyrims designs and an ancient horse relative called Moropus. All but the Moropus are rigged already, I am a little tossed over which skeleton to rig the Moropus to; the top contenders being the elk or horse. All but the Moropus are highly modified from vanilla assets, the Moropus was made almost entirely from scratch. Its head is a modified version of the vanilla horses. The cow was the base for the Aurochs, the Shivatherium from the elk, the civets and mongooses from the skeever,the horse and fish are obvious. There are posed versions of most of them and wall mounted heads for some of them as well. The aurochs, Shivatherium and horse also have pelts that are textured to vanilla assets as well.

  6. Several creatures' pics for Thras. Main idea is to make them more evolutionally related, make them descendants of same squid-lamprey jawless creature. Amphibious stage of Sload - big, slow creature that comes to land only for reproduction. Despite hermaphrodite nature of this species every colony of them have the dominant specimen, manifesting itself as a male. In this stage creatures are semi-sapient, maybe sapient as goblinoid. Aquatic stage of Sload - fat squid-like predatory larvae. It have big fat buoyancy regulators, stretching along the body. It feeds on simple fish-like creatures, which in turn feeds on corals and algaes. Big shark-like creature, a dangerous pack predator.

    In this package I have compiled all the meshes and textures for creatures that I have created. I am a bigginer modeller, a good texturer and know how to rig an animated mesh when it comes to prepping an actor mesh and getting it into the CK I have found that I am no good at it. While I have no problem with creating, prepping and getting static items in game I have found I am no good with getting animated ones in. All the meshes included in this resource I have prepped the best I could however I'm pretty sure I'm either doing something wrong or are missing something needed to get them in so if you have any experience with importing actor meshes into the CK feel free to get these in. I only ask that you credit my work and if you do get them in game please upload them for everyone to enjoy them. If you have the skills to make it then check out the bonus read me tittled "Dragons of the Deadric Princes idea") azura dragon (Azuras dragon, has unique UV map) demented/manic dragon (the dragon of sheogorath, comes with a tusked and untusked variety and has two colour patterns, could use mind altering spells and summon beings and creatures from the Shivering Isles) dragon of the hunt (Hircines dragon, was going to be able to summon were beasts and call upon the hunt) parrot dragon(parrot themed dragon, could make for a nice friendly dragon) gator dragon (made from serpent to give it a crocodilian appeatrance) rust and mutare drake dragon (when I was younger I was an avid player of Heroes of might and magic 3, these are two dragons I whipped up that resemble dragons from this franchise) savannah dragon (looked cool and made me think of a black buck antelope, I think its the horns, so I called it and coloured it to match the antelopes native habitat) Also included: a were-bear texture made to resemble the giant short face bear a sumatran rhino texture for Viltuska's wooly rhino resource on nexus, I also included a posed rhino for those who like animal trophies. If any are interested I could make a tutorial on how to make posed animal trophies, just let me know and I could post it. a couple posed varieties of various meshes for animal trophies Programs used: Blender Nifskope Sculptris of course Skyrim Credits: Viltuska for the rhino mesh Tumbajamba for the gazelle model Sliceandkill for their white tailed deer mesh and a few textures Bellyache's were wolf retextures Note there are a few extinct animals I made, if you want to know more about them or what exactly they were a quick google search will let you know more about them.
  8. Creatures of Thras Discussion

    So in the Caves thread that DarkOdin has kindly started, he asked what creatures would be common in those caves, which brings up the fact that we might want to start getting ideas down. The difficulty, as with many things on Thras, is its alien location and its distance from anything else. It means we won't be able to have many regular creatures that you'd encounter on Tamriel; no rabbits, no wolves, no guar or trolls or anything like that. A lot of the creatures on Thras will have to be devised from imagination. We know they keep undead creatures (aside from their servants) as pets, so some kind of far-away-land variant of mudcrab would be cool. This thread is just for ideas, we're nowhere near ready to be doing anything else, so just pitch a few creature concepts (they can be enemy mobs or passive, Thras'll need both!) and we can discuss them. I've got a few ideas: Different species of mudcrab - As I said before, some kind of mudcrab that they'd keep as pets. Ancient Yokudan Spirits - These would be guardians of the Yokudan ruins that would be on Thras, and quite possibly furious that their bodies are long since stolen. Ancient Lefthanded Elven Spirits - Similar to above, these would be the spirits of the ancient Lefthanded Elves (otherwise known as Sinistral Elves) that would dot the ruins that they too left on Thras. There could be a cool opportunity for a dungeon (maybe even a quest to go with it), where the Yokudan's and Lefthanded Elves' spirits are fighting each other due to their close proximity, being that Thras is as small as it is. Maybe two dungeons are really close together, or perhaps even overlapping? Sload Abomination - This could do with a better name, but as theorized here (final question) when the Sload spread the Thrassian Plague into Tamriel it was suggested that they used mutated forms of their own larvae. What if some of them weren't sent over and lost, or were somehow introduced to the wild, and continued to grow into some weird abomination of the Sload species? A non-intelligent yet sapient lifeform. Perhaps we could use the mighty tardigrade as an inspiration? Extinct Semi-Intelligent Races - Now this is probably my most out there idea so bear with me. Imagine at some point, there were multiple other semi-intelligent races on Thras - say, on the level of goblins, trolls, and ogres, those types of races - what would the Sload have done? They would have, obviously, killed them and used their undead selves as slaves. So these enemies would be the undead forms, zombies, skeletons, etc, of races that are now extinct and have been for a long time. This could be a really cool hint at the history of Thras without designing new races; it would be like discovering dinosaur bones. We could have lore books written about them, Sload documentation of some kind. I guess in a way it's similar to the Reapers from Mass Effect, in that you can recognize an old civilization by how they've based a new Reaper's form on them. Does this make sense? I'm sorry if I'm not getting it across properly, I feel like I'm not, let me know! Your turn!
  9. Concept and design artist

    I'm Dragon Priestess. I work on Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop. I also work on paper and have over 300 prismacolour pencils. ( I swear I am not a hoarder) I regularly destroy limbs and perspective, but I'm mildly good at just doing basic concepts. I LOVE The Elder Scrolls. I started with Oblivion when I was around 13-14 ( I think?) and then went on to Skyrim. Multiple efforts with Morrowind have gotten me nowhere, sadly. The clunky combat and controls, and the ridiculously outdated graphics have gotten to me. I feel so sad for the Argonians and Khajiits because they looked so funny in that game. So um, here's some examples of my art. I guess. I work in a slightly cartoony style as I'm actually more accustomed to drawing.....uh...Anime. The Khajiit fur pattern I have always wanted, but could never have :C A dragon from over 2 years ago. I went into a really long Art block after that and didn't start drawing again until just a few months ago. I forgot this existed until now. Might as well show it to you guys. Also I might be on-off because I am actually in the middle of an employment program, seeing doctors, life, bla bla bla. But I'll still be here!

    I am putting this here to get another avenue of discussion going. Here are some ideas: Ambient Creatures: Fireflies (love swamps)Sawfish (can be hooked up to the salmon skeleton.)Small Lizards - can collaborate with all provinces on this. Will not be easy!Moths (more so than butterflies, which prefer fields and forests to marshes.)Lots of BirdsFrogsBunniesDragonfliesTurtles (a version of a shellbug?)Snakes - will not be easy! Creature Enemies: Snakehead (Replacement for slaughterfish.)Marsh Rats/MuskratsGuar?Crocodiles? - Can collaborate (I believe it was Hammerfell that wanted Crocs too? maybe horker skeleton?)Were Crocodiles - per loreLarge Snakes? (will not be easy, having ambient ones will be doable but getting them to attack the player in a realistic fashion is quite another feat.)TrollsSirens?Carnivorous plants? (Can be trap activators?)Could use the Chaurus Hunter skeleton for various large predatory insects?Marsh Spiders?Garuda? (can potentially use the dragon skeleton?)Naga?   12. Morrowind Creatures

    This thread is dedicated for the animals and creatures of Morrowind. What is possible to create with Skyrims skeletons and what is needed? We probably need a list of what is in the realm of possibilities to create and what is absolutely needed. Personally I have already claimed the Guar. I started of by making a smaller species of Guar called Bantam Guar. Its currently rigged to the chicken skeleton which brings me to the next topic. Skeletons. These are always a problem when creating new animals and creatures, I saw skywind managed to edit the sabrecat skeleton for the guar and it looked like something we could do as well. Any ideas are welcome!

  14. Sheep and Ram

    Team beyond sent us some really good meshes with all kinds of creatures and animals. A sheep and ram were among them, something we really are in need of in Beyond skyrim. So thank Team Beyond for this, they did some awesome meshes and textures! So far I have the sheep in game. Atm it replaces the goat but that will ofc be changed as soon as Welpapp gets his hands on it As you can see its pretty photogenic. There is however some problems with the skinning (sorry guys, i did what i could) since max is acting strangely for me lately. I will try and fix it as soon as i figure out what is wrong. Most people would not notice anything but if i know something is wrong I cant just leave it. If anybody knows why max is doing this, let me know! And I will finish with this picture. I will update you on the ram once it gets worked on but for now, lets celebrate the arrival of this wooly wonder!

Travelling in places like hammerfell with a horse is something that needs to be worked out u don't normally find horses were their is not enough water or grass so u could make mounts like camels for regions with sand. or something similar. morrowind you can travel between trading docks with small boats and i'm not to sure about high rock i have never played as a breton. tell me what u think of this suggestion.
  16. Hey I've been trying to make an alternate mod where you side with Alduin, I thought it would be a cool idea and I'd seen how people wanted one, so I thought I'd try. But I've run into a problem when trying to make the mod, and I cannot believe how much a pain its being. I cannot get Alduin to initiate pc dialogue. I've done the quest, set the aliases, got the scripting for the quest, all I need is to get Alduin to talk. Now before you go "Oh just add the script DefaultAllowPCDialoguescript to his character form." I've already done this. He still wont initiate dialogue with me. He just sits there. I know I can make creatures talk since its not the first time a creature talks to you in Skyrim, especially since Paarthurnax is a main candidate. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Things I've done: I've added Topic branches and responses to the dialogue view. I've added Audio to the responses. Generated lip files I've set the condition GetIsID ==001alduinMOD I've tried starting over with a brand new esp GetIsID ==MODAlduin I've set a voice type and I've given him the script DefaultAllowPCDialogue The Alduin is a duplicate of AlduinBase in the creation kit. What more can I do? At this point I'm beginning to think I should just take Paarthurnax, duplicate him and make his skin Alduin so he is the Alduin I talk with.

    More or less finished with the boar for cyrodiil, textures need improvement and it needs to be rigged but its getting closer to being finished
