  1. Some dragon varieties

    Version 1.0.0

    108 downloads

This was a bunch of meshes and textures I was working on to provide some variety to the vanilla dragon. All the meshes are from vanilla I just mixed and matched different parts from the different dragons together after all they all, except for the serpentine one, shared the same UVs and rigging.

On July 12 of 2018 I lost my sweet loving and little avian friend R2. He fell terribly ill just a few days earlier, he was unable to use his legs. He was a fighter trying his hardest to keep going and be his normal self but that day he hid in his cage and passed away. I made this texture for the dragons for him a while back and I have decided to release it with an updated version of the Parrot Dragon I made in his honor. He was a such an important and loved member of the family and it is very hard to get over his loss. He was such a sweet, loving soul with a big and great personality. We buried him with his favorite things in the back yard and as we buried him a robin sat and watched us. We planted a rose shrub for him and gave him a special stone, we are still going to get him a plaque. I got him in 2012 during a very tough time in my life and he helped me get out of it. He meant a lot to me and his death was so sudden and at such a young age. While I do not follow any religion I do believe in God and an afterlife and I hope to meet him again one day and that he is watching over us. This morning I swear I heard his kiss noise and the ting noise he made with the bars of his cage. My sister had a dream that she saw my great grandfather, who died in the same house and the same spot as R2, in our hall holding R2 and stroking him before nodding and heading away carrying him. I hope that means he is in good hands. This was the last photo I ever took of him from the night before he died: This is his Memorial Garden: I hope you enjoy and use this special dragon in his memory and I will be taking a break from modding, I do not know if I will return. It is going to be a very long and hard road to getting over such a special, unique, important, and loving soul. I have a few things I made a while back before he fell ill that I will upload later including some creatures for Elseywer but for now I have to deal with the grief and mourning.
  3. The RED WELSH Dragon.jpg

From the album Gallery of Different Skyrim

This is the other dragon that will be fought. You may have to fight one at a time or you may have to fight all three at the same time. Maybe only two.
  4. The Dragon Nidhoggr [MMXI].jpg

From the album Gallery of Different Skyrim

This is another dragon the Dragonborn will have to battle.
  5. Three Headed Dragon Illustrations 2010.jpg

From the album Gallery of Different Skyrim

Here are the next three pictures of dragons whom I am trying to work on drawing and inking and then make into an actual working dragons so I can build into a mod. The Dragonborn will have to actually have to kill all three dragons before he/she can travel abroad. That includes essential dovahkins also.
  6. Hey, this is a general application, regarding the need for voice actors. i posted my dragon impression below and I can sorta do Argonians and Khajiit but Im still smoothening out the edges. For, now I'll only post these 2 dragon impersonations. . Btw, if youre wanting a more Oblivion/ Morrowind voice actor I CAN do Khajiit and Argonians. Skyrim's voice has more of a difference in how they speak so its harder to impersonate, from my perspective. Dragon Voice Take 1.m4a Dragon's Voice - Dovakiin.m4a
  7. Dragon Claw Stands

    Version 1.1

    186 downloads

A simple mod to provide display stands for your dragon claws. People like to display their collectibles in their homes. I am no different, but I've always wanted a way to do the same with the dragon claw keys used on the Nord ruin puzzle doors one they're of no use anymore. It always seemed silly to just toss them in a chest and forget about them since they're among the more unique things about the game. So the idea came up to make a display stand for the claws, but not just any display stand. One that was somewhat unique and fitting with their style and purpose. Thanks to some help from the folks at AFK Mods, this is now a reality Each vanilla player home, as well as the 3 Hearthfire homes, and Severin Manor in Raven Rock, now have display stands in various numbers. Simply have one or more of the claws in your inventory and activate the stand. If you have only one, it will be automatically displayed. If you have more than one, it will ask you which one you want to display, in much the same way the Paragon Gem platform in Falmer Valley does with Paragon Gems. If you should want it back for some reason, simply activate the stand a second time and it will be returned to your inventory. Under the hood, the mod takes the claw from your inventory, puts it into a hidden chest, and then places a clone of it in the visible world. When the claw is removed from the stand, the original copy in the chest is placed into your inventory and the clone is deleted to ensure there is no save bloating from creating multiple claws repeatedly. This is done in case the claw is marked in a quest alias somewhere so that the alias is not disrupted. Not all houses can display every claw due to limited space. Severin Manor is the only one with enough space to hold all 10 in the same cell. The Hearthfire houses split them up between the Main Hall and the basement, and all of the vanilla houses can only hold some. For example, Breezehome only has room for 4, while Proudspire Manor can hold up to 7. The placement of the stands are also tied to certain room upgrades, except for Severin Manor where they all get enabled once the player owns the property. As an added bonus, if other mods add more dragon claws, they can be added to the formlist used to track the vanilla game claws. All they would need is a script to access the formlist and add their base object to that list. The only condition is you would need to be sure the mod added claw is the only one in your inventory when you want to place it. This is due to limitations on how the menu works when asking for a claw.
  8. No Random Dragon Encounters?

I've run into a problem and I can't fix it. I've posted on the nexus and its currently in waiting as one person is helping me. But even he doesn't know why, can someone please look into my problem? I've run into a problem where there is no wild dragons. Even my brother is experiencing the same thing on his Skyrim, and he barely has any mods. The only thing I can see as being the culprit was a mod called territorial dragons I uninstalled from another save a few weeks ago. and when I say wild dragons, I mean no dragons attacking cities, or places like the western watchtower, colledge of winterhold etc. I've completed dragon rising and a blade in the dark. All my characters are experiencing the same problem, even the ones that didn't have the mod that changed dragons. here is my boss log *Edit My current boss long. I have dirty edits in the downloadable contents that are not displayed in the log. They became dirty after verifying the game cache. I've been told to open TES5Edit and look at the WiwaitDragon to see if anything changes it but I don't know to much about it. Here is the TES5edit info on the Wiwaitdragon.
  9. Spoiler warning: The tread below will give some details about the game Skyrim and some of its Story-line you have been warned. Hello, I wanted to open a thread. This topic has been discussed many many times before. I didn't know if here was the appropriate place to discuss this, but this is a general discussion. I would like to try and figure out the Truth to Numinex via discussions on the forum. Ever since hearing the sad tale of Numinex, I have been looking in Skyrim, wikipedia's, mods, threads, discussions, to try and find the truth- but to no avail. I want to believe he escaped and eventually died on his own account, or even hunted down would be fine. But to be imprisoned till death is -maddening- for me to say the least. From the information I have gathered- and many others it is quite clear that the story of a dragon being imprisoned in Dragonreach is not false, Paarthurnax is our only true lead to confirm this on the throat of the world as he said- he used to visit Numinex. What I want to discuss is some of the main holes in the story, as it doesn't make much sense- and perhaps we can come to some sort of conclusion to the whole story. 1. How was Numinex dragged all the way to Dragonsreach from Mount Anthor? Dragon bones and scales themselves weigh 10 to 15 pounds if I'm correct. So take the whole body of a dragon, down a mountain, and all the way to Dragonsreach. Then, carry him all the way up the future stairs of Dragonsreach, and...what? did Olaf already have the trap ready? How could Numinex not escape the entire journey? surely he would have recovered even a little on the way there. 2. Paarthurnax visited Numinex. Ok, I suppose a flying dragon coming to see Numinex was nothing out of the ordinary, it wasn't like he was a threat or anything! With the civilians of Whiterun, guard, and jarl Olaf- wouldn't Numinex been forced to leave? 3. If Paarthurnax visited Numinex, and felt sorry for him- why didn't he attempt to free him? Paarthurnax breaths fire, the trap is made out of steel chains and wood. So couldn't Paarthurnax free him? 4. Unless Paarthurnax is really Numinex, I don't understand why Paarthurnax didn't try. Paarthurnax felt sorrow for Numinex, but didn't even try to help him? as I remember- Paarthurnax makes mention at how captivity was driving Numinex mad. Any decent fellow would attempt to rescue their own kin. So why not Paarthurnax? unless....he WAS Numinex! (Dah dah daaah!) 5. How did Olaf make it into Sovengarde? Its pretty clear that a way for a Nord to make it into the halls of valor. (I think it was called.) Was to live honorably and die with sword in hand in battle. Also you must defeat Tsun (or shor can't remember) before you can actually gain entrance. Olaf captured a dragon, killed his bard enemies for writing either truth or lies about him, and showed no mercy to Numinex in letting him free...or did he? I've come up with the theory that maybe how Olaf obtained entry to the hall of valor was that in his final days of high king (or jarl) he freed Numinex, as he was older and now his intelligence had shown him the error of his ways. (especially if we are to believe he tricked Numinex into the deal.) Too live out the last days of his life he wishes to live honorably and frees Numinex. This is just a theory though. 6. AND Finally, Numinex's skull in Dragonsreach is real or fake? When we enter Dragonsreach- most probably see the dragon skull over the head of Jarl Balgruuf upon first visit. But are we to know that the skull is real, or fake? Numinex was killed, and what we know- not by a dragon-born. So why don't you absorb his lingering soul when you approach Balgruuf? Is it the head of a dragon that died to a dragon born way back when, or is it hand sculpted by the finest sculptures in skyrim? I want too see your thoughts. Read my six questions and respond with counter arguments or supportive claims. I just want the truth, even though it wouldn't be canon. We can come up with something to try and understand the logic in the whole stay can't we?
  10. Hey there, you can just call me Dragon. I'm new to the Creation kit and I'm working on a mod but, I can't seem to get this skeleton [summon spell (NPC)] to use spells in both he's hands. I don't know what to do, can anyone help? I think I need to have both the right attacking animations and spells for L & R hand. But, the skeletons attacking animations doesn't have it for the right hand.
  11. Run For Your Lives

    Version 3.0

    1482 downloads

A small mod that makes citizens in a village or city run indoors during a dragon or vampire attack. This was born out of frustration at seeing the citizens all trying to be a hero and rushing headlong to their doom attacking dragons and vampires. Instead, the citizens will run to safety like smart people should when faced with the horrors of giant flying fire breathing lizards (or bloodthirsty undead). NPCs who live in the attack location who own a home there will retreat to it. If the attack location has an inn, NPCs who don't live there will flee to the inn, along with any NPCs who live outdoors. If no inn is present the game picks a random interior from the surrounding area and those NPCs will flee there instead. This should work for any NPCs added by mods as well, up to a limit of 150 in the area. After that, they're on their own. The NPCs chosen are first come, first serve by the game engine. Guards, members of The Companions, Vigilants of Stendarr, and the player's followers/teammates will not run, they will stand and fight. Farm animals will not run either, because they're stupid. That includes your horse. Spawned dragons are detected via animation events, which should allow for completely reliable detection even if the dragon never lands on something. Hand placed dragons are detected when their combat state changes* as well as when they land on any available perch objects in the area. Vampires will be detected when the events that spawn them begin running. * [Only after they land on the ground] My Patreon Page: https://www.patreon.com/arthmoor
