  1. Hey there! My name's Jack, I'm currently a sophomore in college (majoring in biology, minoring in writing) and I would love to have the opportunity to help make Beyond Skyrim a reality. Though I haven't worked on a mod project before, I've gained experience with creating questlines and worldbuilding by plotting out DnD campaigns for my friends. I've been DMing a campaign set within Tamriel for over a year now, and it's taught me a lot about how to properly create immersive questlines and interesting characters while also keeping it understandable enough for people to stay invested. My biggest strength is probably writing dialogue for and between different characters and plotting out story threads, but I am also more than capable of writing out in-game books if needed. Below are a few examples of both: Example Questline: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bPEmOUOKOHMGUVweW68SAyepS9eeWgsH2mhu7pUDSyc/edit?usp=sharing Example Book: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pFtI-fHi4a1E-7UWRab1G7C_s6rrNkMCXWK8vGiY0eQ/edit?usp=sharing
  2. Hey, everyone! I'm recruiting voice actors for my in-development quest & follower mod, Memoirs of the Abyss. You can get further details about the mod and the casting call process here; https://www.castingcall.club/projects/memoirs-of-the-abyss-follower-quest-mod-for-tesv-skyrim Looking forward to hearing your voices!
  3. I'm experienced with the CK, and have made many small maps. I'm very interested in helping with Cyrodill, as I dumped countless of hours into oblivion back when it launched, and it's by far my favorite region. however i'll take whatever is opportunity is given Here are some screenshots of my work, fun fact the fallout ones are based off of where I live

If you are interested in working on a remake of The Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey, reply to this. We would be glad to have you working with us!
  5. Hi people on this forum I recently found out about this mod, and I must say I am very enthusiastic. I would love to be able add something to Beyond Skyrim, although up to this point the forums look like a confusing mass to me. I have been looking for some kind of indication of music that might be needed, but so far I didn't find something like that yet. If you happen to need some music for something please let me know and I will start working on it as soon as possible. I made a few tracks to show what I can make and if you like it and think I could be of help somewhere, please let me know. If you notice something specific that could make my music better or more useful for the mod, please tell me. This is the first music I made for a mod and some tips could mean that I might be able to help the mod in the future.
  6. Hello, I’m GHilliE. I’ve been involved in the modding community for a few years now and I’ve been keeping an eye on the Beyond Skyrim project for almost as long. I really like this concept and I would absolutely love to help build the world you're creating. I have a lot of experience in level design because of the creation kit and I'm a CS major in college. I don't know much about the Papyrus scripting language, but I can always try to learn it and help out with that. I have experience working with modding teams in Fallout 4 and Fallout New Vegas. Currently, I'm a member of the Tales From New Reno team, led by Cellblock Psycho. I've done lots of small updates to Fallout 4 settlements on my own, but the FO4 team I was involved in went under due to the project lead quitting. I've done a lot in terms of level design for Skyrim, but I’ve never released a completed project because I'm not a one man army. I've worked on a couple projects over the years, but I'll only post screenshots of the most recent one, as it's the only one I'm proud of and the only one I haven't attempted to make an LOD for. The first world I made was destroyed when I tried to create an LOD. Anyways, I'm a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls Series and I hope that I can do something for the modding community, specifically this one. This looks like it would be an amazing project to be part of. Here’s an Imgur link with some screenshots of my work as well as some proof that I’m the creator of these mods and a member of the Tales From New Reno team: My Skyrim mods (Links to Bethesda.net): This is my overly ambitious Skyrim project called Karlstad. When I swapped hard drives, I lost the master file that I had been working on. Unfortunately, I hadn’t updated my mod on Bethesda.net in months, so I lost a lot of progress. Maybe it was a good thing though, I was going to change or get rid of a decent amount of stuff anyway. This is Winterholm. It’s a player-house that incorporates nature into its architecture/setting. Some of my FO4 mods that I won’t give descriptions for because they’re basically irrelevant in this setting (Links to Bethesda.net):: Living Diamond City GoodNeighbor Reborn
  7. Hello, About a week ago I submitted a similar application to the website containing my portfolio. I'm resubmitting because I didn't put in an example of a quest and dialogue so below in the google docs link will be my full portfolio with the quest, dialogue, and other bits and pieces of writing that I've scavenged around for. I also did not specify which province I'd like to apply for so that will be here too. Google Doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1u_PewElSlsFRvmNg0aDJOlJC-TOMf9mkPWmkNy2AHXQ/edit?usp=sharing Provinces: The two I really want to take part in is Cyrodiil and Morrowind, however, if there's any other help needed on any other province I would be more than happy to work on those. Here's a bit about myself just in case I am being looked at by someone else. I'm Ethan Fonarev, a student writer. I've written and told stories for most of my life and have been accepted into several creative writing programs in the past. I am currently in the process of editing and tuning my first novel and I'm also a big fan of Destiny, Star Wars, and Elder Scrolls lore.
  8. Writer Application

My name is Ryan James Stenning, I am 17 and live in the UK, I am a huge fan of fantasy literature, movies, and video games such as the Beast Quest book series, Lord of the rings film series, and the Elder Scrolls games, I have a large interest in writing myself and have attempted to create many short stories. More recently I started playing Beyond Skyrim: Bruma, and I immediately fell in love with it, as a result I would love to help work on more by Beyond Skyrim, I am dedicated, hard working and willing to do whatever is needed of me. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IovXcFwkLkDLLIwIg9mYckP-Y5QsVj9oUA6qTnZ5kms/edit?usp=sharing
  9. To anyone who reads, hey. I recently became aware of the highly ambitious and exciting project, Beyond Skyrim. On hearing that the large majority of the team is volunteer based, I thought I might submit an application to work on the project as a composer/sound designer. I have a lot of composition and audio design experience with DAW's such as ProTools and FL Studio but I have never created anything to be implemented into an engine, so that may be a problem xD. TL:DR - I'm really passionate about the Elder Scrolls and I just want to be a part of something big doing what I love.
  10. Music composer, audio score

I’m a uni student studying film scoring and composing, I have composed my own stuff similar to the Bathesda score, using DAW such as Protools. I am an elder scrolls enthusiast and my music is heavily influenced by the scores in the elder scrolls world. I would love an opportunity to expand my work and get my foot in the door with the Beyond Skyrim project, as I think I have a lot to offer. I am influenced by Jeremy Soule and In awe of Daniel ran’s score for Bruma. How would I go about joining the team to create some audio for the mod?
  11. Hello, My name is Ethan Fonarev and I am a student writer. I've been admitted into different writing programs and am currently writing my first book. I am a big fan of classic literature (Orwell, Wells, Lovecraft, etc.) I am also a big fan of video game and movie lore. I am open to taking part in any project and I am willing to work on any form of writing whether it be poems or dialogue, however, my strongest suites are story-telling and dialogue. I have a good amount of time on my hands, especially with summer coming up. Unfortunately, if I am admitted to working on this project, I will have to put schoolwork before this, so if there are periods of time that are much more dense with schoolwork, my productivity on the Skyrim mod will slow down or be halted entirely. Below is a google doc containing samples of my writing and when they were written. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1u_PewElSlsFRvmNg0aDJOlJC-TOMf9mkPWmkNy2AHXQ/edit?usp=sharing
  12. Hi my name is Camille I send a recruitment a week ago regarding recruitment but then I found this and figured it'd be better to post my application here. I'm 17 years old and a junior soon to be a senior in highschool. I've taken summer programs on concept art and I feel like i understand the field fairly well. I'd love to work on iliac bay specifically hammer fell because I love redguards and think they're the coolest race. I hope my art work is received well This is work from this past summer I did https://drive.google.com/file/d/1X0qVFJnYSG7TzxQAsqAFom6Q0P9PPKaA/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/1X0qVFJnYSG7TzxQAsqAFom6Q0P9PPKaA/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/1joGqPRUiqwfyyeLjBRXyrwqBZPJ8zKGr/view?usp=drivesdk These are my concentration pieces from this year in ap art they're a little edgy heh https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HA8XZECLZdLUXuQfa4qnKhonL7dGKueN/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JxHcRJRDDifuJplvVY9V40estKWE468C/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/11Lp_jNXzdpBR0GPePFHW30hLNr4R-WIf/view?usp=drivesdk
  13. Recruitment: content/quest writing

First of all, I found out about this project from the trailer (which was amazing). Secondly, I've been playing Skyrim since 2011 and I've tried many quest-mods featuring ancient Nordic and dragon culture but nothing fulfilled me until now. I find Expedition of Atmora a chance to empty the plot holes or maybe add new things to the endless lore of Elder Scrolls. I am no professional writer but my level of writing fantasy quests and storytelling is pretty good (you'll be the judge). I've already written a questline (of course I am planning additions after I read the already existing quests so my content can be lore-friendly). I hope you will enjoy my little story of the "golden priest"... (REMEMBER this is a work in progress I can continue when I learn more about the already existing Questline and the environment you want to create. Thank you for your time, no matter the result of my recruitment I wish you the BEST and keep creating the fans, including myself, are very proud of you...) 16. This project looks absolutely fantastic so I would love to be a part of it! I have some experience in voice acting (smaller indie projects) so I figured I'd post some dialog from Morrowind and Oblivion. I voiced it in a way that seemed fitting for the project but I also have some experience with anime-like voices and singing. I can edit my own audio (clean it up and make it sound clear) if you would like or provide the raw files. 17. 2D/ concept art

Hi, my name is Ramez, a.k.a tartiflette here... being a "stalker" for a while I finally chose to take a risk and hope to contribute to this humongous project... Always fascinated by all the works I've seen, 3D is still a mysterious language to me (I tried once to make a cube in blender, I think it took me hours...). So I still prefer to stick into my comfort zone, which is drawing and photography... for the drawings, here are a few examples (I tried to recreate just for fun the Umbra' Keth, an incerdible creature who deserves a better purpose than being stuck in a forgotten mini console) (for the photography which is less interesting, here's my website : sommeil paradoxal ) I'm more at ease with creatures than architecture, but anyways, as long as I can give a hand, count me in Thanks a lot @Hannes821 for bringing me here, I hope my hand won't shake when needed voilà...

  19. Folken - Writing / Oddjobs

Nickname: Folken Skills: Varied, but I am most interested in writing. However I'm willing to help in any way, in exchange for the experience of building a game. Interests: Story & lore crafting. Character backstories. The slow and painful unraveling of deeply troubling and depressing events that are now the player's problem. Ideas: Many. Plagues. War. Natural disasters. Baseless racial hatreds. Unrequited love. The bulls-eye is the players heart, the writer is the longbow and the quiver is full of painful personal and historical examples. Begin TLDNR phase: Writing examples: Short Story: A fantasy short story I wrote about a soldier with horrid ptsd trying to socialize. I've written a few about her... https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lalKCV8RxwpbdeyBrIlzeOfQ5sJhHDUzrqtHU6H0nes/edit?usp=sharing World Crafting: I created a tabletop (rolemaster) setting where everyone's dead for 700 years and the players don't initially know why: I ran this game for 5 years irl. I created the world, the location, the civilization, what killed it, and the other things that moved in after they were gone, then I shipwrecked a group of players there with nothing. I made campaign blog posts to keep track of it and I have a separate site with every detail/backstory/timeline I wrote for the world to keep it straight in my head, like an even dorkier version of wikipedia. I wrote far more content for the world than the players ever found or knew about to keep it rich and always have a quick answer when they wanted to dig deeper. This is the final post of the campaign and it will make no sense by itself but does illustrate my willingness to commit large chunks of my life to creating lies for the amusement of others. https://sites.google.com/site/wildermaster/project-updates/20130923transferofpower Planet Crafting using someone else's rules: Blog-documenting the creating of planets in a sci-fi tabletop campaign I'm running from scratch, but using an existing game (Starfinder) for rules/mechanics/classes. https://www.tumblr.com/blog/starloserrpg Writing organization: I openly admit that I made a spreadsheet to manage a timeline of my two pathfinder (d&d) campaigns happening in the same country at the same time with two groups of characters (one chaotic good, one lawful evil) played by one group of players. These are Paizo (pathfinder) Adventure Paths that I modified to fit into one big complicated story. It confuses me a little just attempting to describe what I've done to myself here, hence the spreadsheet... ^ this wouldn't paste only as a link, I tried! Short Story in the above-campaign-world: A dream-sequence I wrote from the perspective of a players character who was receiving the dream-message from a potentially friendly NPC who had been turned to stone. https://hellspathfinder.tumblr.com/post/163416485778/night-visions Also from the above campaigns: Blog Documenting player choices & events so none of us forget what we did each week. https://hellspathfinder.tumblr.com/post/170740696018/gangs-of-kintargo A particularly RP heavy example of this, an NPC funeral: https://hellspathfinder.tumblr.com/post/170800439778/catalyst Strangers from tumblr read these more than my players do Here I am fan-fictioning a game that probably doesn't deserve it: The Division had it's moments. I made a journal from the perspective of my character as I worked through what plot there is to find in that game. https://www.tumblr.com/blog/agentjournal Whoa, TLDNR bail now. The rest is significantly less relevant. 20. Sounddesigner

Hi! My name is Jonathan Wagner. I am a 22 year old German and I'm applying for a position in the Beyond Skyrim development team. I am a sounddesigner and composer. I have studied Audio Engineering at the SAE Institute in Leipzig and graduated from there in late 2017. In the past I have mostly worked on short films, however during my study we also had a project where we where implementing sounds into a game scene in he Unity Engine. In those projects I am typically involved in any or all of the following: writing music, recording foley, sound designing and mixing. One of the publicly available shortfilms can be found here (Be aware: It's in German). If you are interested in the music I have composed, a selection is available here. Thanks for taking the time to read my application and I look forward to hearing back from you all! Jonathan
  21. Application - 2D Concept Artist

Hello Beyond Skyrim team! My name is Nikola, or Hastalis in the community. I am a long time lurker but first time joiner/poster. I am 27 years of age and hail from Australia and I am applying to be a 2D Concept Artist within one of your amazing projects. I hold a Bachelor Degree of Natural History Illustration so my passion and skills lie within illustrating fauna and flora both real and fictional using both traditional and digital mediums. I would also love to explore weapon design. A small portfolio of digital concepts are available here https://hastalis.carbonmade.com/projects/6716320 for you to browse. I am more than happy to provide examples of my traditional work if necessary as well. I would love to work within the Elsweyr, Hammerfell or Black Marsh teams as they seem the most fun and interesting to me (especially their creature lore), but would love to provide concepts for any team that needs it or feels my work would suit their project. Thank you so much for taking the time to read through my application and view my portfolio, looking forward to hearing from someone soon. Regards, Nikola (Hastalis)
  22. To Whom It May Concern, My name is Anna Fraser; I'm an actor based in the UK, and I'm very interested in your upcoming voice acting opportunities for Expedition to Atmora. I understand that the applications are not fully underway as of yet, but I would like to put my name out there for consideration - I'm a huge Skyrim fan and I was thrilled to come across this casting. My work has primarily been in theatre, but I have experience in screen work as well. In 2016 I completed an Acting for Screen course with NYT in London, and more recently I've worked on music videos and short films. Voice clips and other videos can be found on my acting profile: https://www.starnow.com/annafraser10 - but please feel free to contact me at fraseranna1@outlook.com should you need to hear any specific lines, improv or accents. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon. Kind Regards, Anna Fraser
  23. Hey, recruitment forum! My name is seracweir (willing to share further personal details with the team upon acceptance ) and I'm 22 year old student. I'm applying for positions in any project/ development team that needs some extra help, as my skills are well rounded and diverse. Honestly, I really admire the team behind this project and all that has been accomplished so far. I would really love to help in any possible way to bring the magic to the modding community! As for qualifications: I have professional experience in media writing and communications if a position on the team's "professional end" is needed (editing, communications between groups, organization between groups, etc). Any writing openings, story/lore or other, would be favorable to me - I especially love editing and would love to simply be sent assignments to check and provide advice on. I also studied design, art, and concept studio work in school previously and am a student/hobby artist. I would love to provide work for concept teams or designs for environments -if samples from a portfolio are needed, I can provide them on request. My technical modding skills and experience with the CK are limited but basic, and I am willing to learn for the sake of a team effort. My personal interests include art, writing, character/story development projects like DMing Dungeons & Dragons and, obviously, the Elder Scrolls games. My 68 year old father first introduced me to the first Fallout when I was young. Morrowind was my first "big kid" game, and I've been playing TES ever since. I'd love to help keep the joy and community going strong by joining the Beyond Skyrim team.
  24. Application - Writer

Hello, my name is Johhny and I'd like to try my hand at writing for one of the teams working on Beyond Skyrim. I'm 23 and the Elder Scrolls has been my favorite franchise since way back. I started with Morrowind when I was a kid, then on to Oblivion, and finally Skyrim. Writing is a hobby of mine, but working on a game has been a dream of mine for a long time and I'm hoping to gain some experience in the field. I'd be willing to work on any province. I look at it as an exercise for my creativity, so unfamiliar territory will not be a problem. Here's a short story I've been working on: Jblack.txt
  25. Ky M.
